Recape and College Football Locks Oct 31st, 2009

Happy Halloween everyone! Yesterday ended with a push and a loss. Not a great day. I will make up for it today.

First Lock: Boston College FIRST HALF -3 at home against Central Mich.

BC should come out strong against a weaker Central Mich. team. Don't get fooled by the 7-1 record of Cent Mich. They play in a much weaker conference than the acc. Take the golden eagles

Second Lock:
Texas/OK state over 53.5

Expect some points in this game. Prediction 38-27 Texas

NBA SPECIAL: 2 LOCKS October 30th, 2009

Last night's lock was too easy, hit the under by 16 points. Hope you bet it with me.

Very confident in these two bets tonight:

First Lock: Magic -10 @ Nets

Let's put it this way, I think magic win by 20 plus. Nets lost Vince to the Magic. Dwight Howard squares up against Brook Lopez....really? Expect big things out of superman tonight. Vince will have something to prove against his former team. The magic are probably the deepest team in the league and probably shoot it from deep the best. Big win Magic.

Second Lock: Raptors -2.5 @ memphis.

Memphis looked awful in the opener, where the Raptors beat LBJ and the avs, pretty easily. I don't expect this to be a particularly close game. Take Bosh and his crew tonight.

Lock of the Day: October 29th, 2009

Spurs @ Bulls UNDER 193.5

Spurs are always a good defensive team. First game of the year for the bulls, expect a little rust to show. Taking the under tonight.

NBA LOCK October, 28th 2009
Orlando Magic -10

The magic are home tonight against the 76ers. Many already forget that the Magic won the East last year! Plus they added a huge threat in Vince Carter. The sixers are still a mediocre team at best. Gotta love the magic to win easily tonight in Orlando.


World Series 2009 Game 1 lock:
Over 7.5

Sabathia vs Lee on paper seems to be a pitchers duel, however don't forget about the potency of these two offenses, and that short porch in right at Yankee Stadium. Lee has been stellar since joing the Phillies, but as most pitchers that go from AL to the NL they do the same. Lee is back pitching against the AL and it will show tonight. Still betting on CC to show some sort of sign of human life. Either way this will go over tonight. Take it.

NBA Opening Night Lock

LBJ and the Cavs open up tonight at home against the celtics. The Cavs were absolutely dominant at home last year. LBJ gets better every single year. The celts are only getting older and older.
LBJ is out to prove he is the best this year, as next year he will be the hottest thing on the open free agency market.

Sunday Wrap up and Monday Night Football Lock

Sunday was a good day. Bet with DG went 2-1, with the one loss being my lowest bet. My Teaser which I told you to "Bet Big" was never in doubt. And packers -9.5 was extremely easy after a 31-3 packers win. Yes, the Cardinals Defense stepped up last night, and I did not see that coming.

Anyways it was a good Sunday, and I will look to start off the week on the right foot with tonight's lock:

The Eagles had a terrible game last week against the lowly Raiders. I am betting that was a freak occurrence. The Redskins are not a good team, Zorn is no longer calling plays and the wheels are falling off the wagon....Fast. Jason Campbell has to deal with a new play caller, this is not a small feat for a QB in just a weeks time. Especially when you are Jason Campbell.

Eagles will win big tonight.

Scott Kazmir is a Yankee Killer. Over the last 3 season he has a 2.42 era against them. Yes its true CC has had a great year and has been dominant thus far in the postseason. However, it is also true that CC eventually blows up in the postseason, perhaps he has changed but I am betting he has not. Take the Angels tonight.
